more Russian options

(from beekeeper Fred)  I stumbled on a Wisconsin supplier for Russian nucs.  Limited quantities.   They are located on Washington Island.  See "sweetmountainfarm.com"  Not sure if they also have queens.  Their website also has some good instructions on handling of Russians.

Thank you Fred for the recognition. Sweet Mountain Farm still has a few Russian nucleus hive available for June 20th pick up. Locations include Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay. These are overwintered colonies that have been split from my apiary on Washington Island. There are 30 more available.

Our club members have difficulty overwintering their hives. Could you provide a detailed description on how you prepare your colonies for winter; heavy fall feeding, wrappping, winter feeding, Culling of weak colonies, etc.
