For the first time in history, honey has been made on White House grounds. It's a bumper crop.

I was so thrilled to see them doing this. It's a great educational tool. I hope our Prime Minister considers it too. If I lived in Ottawa I would have written him already :)

did anyone else find this HIVE STAND to be an "interesting height"???? YIKES! i wondered if it's cemented into the ground too? i noted the straps... i suppose all of this is designed to prevent the "molesting of the hive"...???
