CLUB HONEY EXTRACTOR:
As an aid to small hobbyist beekeepers the club has a 12 frame honey extractor. This extractor is located in the Rushford Winery & Meadery, which is located a few miles west of Omro. At the present time use of the extractor is limited to club members only. Contact Pam Keller (920-420-2450 or Ecwba3@gmail.com) to schedule an exacting event.
USDA BEE LAB:
Here's a website address for information regarding the submission of bee samples for disease diagnosis at the USDA Laboratory in Beltsville, MD.

USE A CLUB REFRACTOMETER:
East of FDL: call denise @ 920.922.7487 - email: d@dsignsd.com If you wish to test your entire batch of honey - make sure that it's stirred (as small beekeepers - we harvest in small batches...and those moisture amounts can vary throughout the pail!). If you've separated your "questionable honey" from the rest of the batch....you probably only need to test that.
The second club REFRACTOMETER will be under the ovesite of Andy Krueger. You need to come to a club meeting and sign it out if you wish to use it....or contact our Secretary - Andy.

LIBRARY:
In 2015 the club's books were distributed among several of the local libraries. Club members and the public can then get access to all books and book circulation will be faster. If a book is not at your local library simply request your librarian to put a request into the Winnefox library sharing system. The book will be routed to your local library immediately (usually arrives in 1-2 days) or if it is already checked out it will be reserved in your name and be routed to your local library when returned.
